In transition

We have officially moved out of our Green Bay home and are "camping" out at my parents house in Wausau until April 6, which is our closing date on our new home in Cary, IL. My parents have graciously opened their house to us as we have temporarily moved in (their once clutter free home is now scattered with Elle's toys and books). Ellison and I have been here the last couple days as Jonathan packed our final things for the movers to take yesterday morning. All of our stuff will be sitting on the moving truck for the next couple weeks until our new house is ready. In the mean time, Jonathan will be going back and forth from Wausau to IL to work and Elle and I will be hanging out in Wausau.
The Update on Elle:
Ellison is now walking, even running, everywhere on her own now. She does not want to hold our hands, she wants to do it all by herself! She has been saying so many things lately like: ball, mom, dad...she makes the sound of a dog and airplane when asked plus she can count to 2 (we say 1, then she says 2)! She is now officially on formula and doing great. It was more difficult for me, physically, than it was for her to transition from nursing to formula/bottles. I'm finally free and it feels great! Her sleeping has improved too, she now takes hour + naps and only wakes up 1-2 times at night. She is doing different things each day and really growing up so fast. She is so much fun to be around, we all get a big kick out of her little personality.

New Digs

We're finally getting around to posting some pictures of our new home in Illinois. We're busy packing up our GB home as we are out of here in 1 week. New pictures of Ellison to come soon...it's wild to think that in 1 month we'll be celebrating her 1st birthday in our new house.

Watch out for Elle!

Jonathan and I are in trouble now...Ellison figured out how to stand up from sitting (without using a prop) this evening!!! We arrived at my parents house in Wausau and were all hanging out in the living room after dinner (watching Idol). All of a sudden, Elle (while sitting) rocked forward to her hands, planted her feet, and stood up! We were all shocked! We knew that it was only a matter of time that she would be completely mobile, but never in our wildest dreams did we ever think that our baby would be chasing after us at only 10 months old! Here she is in action:

Fun times at Grandma Marcy's

Here's Ellison with her toy Pepsi bottle and pickle - what a great snack!

This owl was high up in a tree in Marcy's backyard - we watched him for over an hour. He was huge, probably the size of a medium sized dog!

Cowgirl Elle on her favorite horse Penelope!

Serving us happy meals!

Rocking out!

- By the way, house hunting was crazy and stressful, not as fun as watching "House Hunters" on HGTV (one of our favorite shows). The time crunch was weighing on us and we wanted to find the house that fit us the best, and we were not going to settle for just anything - it had to feel right. Stay tuned.
