To illustrate how behind I am at blogging...this is my 15 week side profile pic. If you've been looking at our pregnancy ticker, I'm 17 weeks! Anyway, as I always say, "better late than never."

Ellison showing off one of her favorite numbers that she learned from story-time at the library. It's called "Open Shut Them." In case you can't understand her, she is saying, "open shut them, open shut them, give a little clap. Open shut them, open shut them, put them in your lap. Creep them, creep them, right up to your chin...(then she has had enough). The rest of it goes..."open up your mouth, but do not let them in!" She probably would have finished, but it was getting late, and she had alread gone through it a couple of times.
Backyardigans song, except where she says "nap" it's supposed to "snack"...a little trick I pulled to get her ready for sleep.

I love how she is trying SO hard to open and shut her hands with the words...it is too cute.

Danielle LITERALLY was watching "open, shut them" for 20 minutes... again and again... it's become our theme song today - that and "fingers wiggling."
